Duties

The incumbent will have the following duties

• Works with the team to facilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of market analysis capacity building programs
• Also, monitors and analyzes specific aspects of capacity building program implementation
• Likewise, reviews relevant documents and reports
• Carries out visibility activities for ITC market analysis tools.
• Contributes to basic research on selected aspects of programs to support the development of training materials (including collecting, analyzing and presenting statistical data and other information gathered from diverse sources).
• Assists in performing consulting assignments, in collaboration with the team, by planning consultations with clients and assisting in developing the capacity building and/or visibility plan to be implemented
• Furthermore, provide supports to the survey initiatives to assess clients’ needs and/or satisfaction; assists with design of data collection tools; issues data collection tools, reviews, analyzes and interprets responses, identifies problems/issues and prepares preliminary conclusions.

Requirements for Associate Program Officer Vacancy

Education: A first-level university degree in business administration, management, economics or a related field.
NOTE: An advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in business administration,
management, economics or a related field may be considered in lieu of the work experience.
Work Experience:
Also, a minimum of two years of relevant experience in project/program management, administration or related area. Likewise, experience in delivering capacity building activities is desirable. Also, experience in marketing
or communication is desirable.
Languages: Advanced English is required. Additionally, French or Spanish desirable. Moreover, knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
