Position: Senior Financial Information Systems Assistant at the Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance Enterprise Resource Planning Project

Responsibilities

Technical Support and System Development

  • Assists in the maintenance and administration of SAP BPC, specifically: Dimensions and Models, Teams and Task Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Rules (Member Formulas, Logic Scripts, Business Rules, Controls), Work Status, Journals, and Drill-Throughs.
  • Assists in the maintenance of BPC Consolidation for Consolidation Monitor, Controls Monitor, Ownership Manager, and Journals.
  • Gathers and review of the various requirements for the development of EPM reports/forms and also provide relevant support to finance users thereof.
  • Similarly, assists in the maintenance of Data Manager Packages, Packages Lists and Links, Transformation files, Conversion files and the related integration with BW.
  • Tests new versions of system software and hardware according to specifications.
  • Also, conducts unit-integrated testing, designs and executes test scenarios as well as assists in acceptance testing.
  • Collect objects for transport in BW.

Legal Consolidation

  • Assists with data loads in production and review/maintenance of Work Status.
  • Assists with the cross-reconciliation between ECC and BW to Staging Cube to BPC so as to ensure the completeness of financial data and the integrity of the ECC trial balance.
  • Monitors and maintains the automated consolidated schedule in BPC.

Production Support

  • Reviews production iNeed tickets and getting the right input from business/functional for the timely resolution of BPC tickets.
  • Monitors system performance using appropriate monitoring tools.
  • Prepares technical and user documentation for deployed application systems, as well as training materials and conducts technical presentations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. In addition to that, a minimum ten years of experience in finance, accounting, budget or business administration, information systems management or a related area.
  • Experience in any one of the following program; Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, SAP BADI, SAP BPC Logic Script, Microsoft .Net, C#, Java, C++.  Also, previous experience in analysis, including structured/object-oriented design, relational systems, scripting and query languages.
  • Similarly, experience in report writing using different tools like SAP BPC EPM, Crystal Reports, and/or Business Objects is necessary.
