Job opening in IPAS for the position of Health System Strengthening (HSS) Field Officer!
This position reports to the HSS Specialist and s/he will need to coordinate with other units and relevant staff.
Primary Responsibilities of HSS Planning Contribute to the development of a detailed implementation plan (DIP) to pilot a comprehensive SRH service for women and girls in health facilities. Provide input for the HSS Specialist and Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer on opportunities and allies at the city and provincial level. Program Management Conduct activities relevant to the piloting of comprehensive SRH service for women and girls in health facilities Liaise between the VAW as well as Clinical Forensic Center in the pilot health facility with diverse technical support In addition, support the VAW and Clinical Forensic Center in the pilot health facility to introduce the comprehensive SRH service for women and girls to relevant stakeholders at the city and provincial level Monitoring & Evaluation Conduct regular monitoring to the health facilities where the comprehensive SRH services for women and girls is piloted Report progress of piloting the comprehensive SRH service for women and girls monthly Moreover, support any fieldwork to draw lessons learned from piloting comprehensive SRH service for women and girls in health facilities Finance Plan activity budget as well as report its utilization according to Ipas Indonesia’s regulation Provide an overview of budget utilization in the field every month HR & Administration Understand and comply with the HR regulation in Yayasan Ipas Indonesia Ensure all activities comply with the regulation Document program activities as well as other relevant documents and products Work Ethics Understand and practice ethical processes and behaviour as per the organization’s standard Contribute to a safe working environment where every team member is treated equally and respectfully Ensure health facilities that pilot the comprehensive SRH service for women and girls In addition, understand and practice ethical processes and behaviour while in partnership and implementing the program with Yayasan Ipas Indonesia Requirements for the Position of HSS Bachelor Degree in reproductive health or public health more than 3 years of working experience in development work. Experience working in a non-profit organization. Moreover, experience working in health facilities Experience in working with the National Police Force will be an advantage Deep knowledge of HS and Reproductive Health issues with an orientation towards improving the space for health Fluent in Indonesian and working knowledge of English In addition, extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite Knowledge & Skills Is an active participant in meeting project and organizational goals Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong critical thinking as well as problem-solving skills A demonstrated project as well as organizational skills Ability to motivate as well as work well with others can work under pressure Ability to work successfully in a cross-cultural, team-based, global environment Moreover, the ability to create a supportive working environment amongst all country staff
