The Social Impact invites qualified candidates to apply for the vacancy position of Human Resources Manager, Learning and Development in Arlington, Virginia, United States. The incumbent will t oversees performance management, orientation, corporate training, and employee engagement. The incumbent will also responsible for providing high-quality service to all SI employees. The HR Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities 

The Human Resources Manager will be liable for the following duties

  • Managing the 90-day review, mid-year check-in, and annual performance review. Participating in the implementation of a new web-based performance system.
  • Encouraging employee use of funds, respond to policy questions, report on usage. Also, conducting employee exit interviews, analyze feedback.
  • Managing employee onboarding and orientation training. Similarly, conduct an L&D training session as well as a new hire survey.
  • Organizing annual ethics and respectful workplace training.
  • Managing bi-month anniversary meetings, implement employee engagement survey as well as managing the affirmative action plan, VETS 4212, EEO 1 and 2
  • Back-up HR Manager for payroll and benefits.
  • Furthermore, performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for this position

  • Master’s degree. In addition to that, a minimum of three years of relevant experience or equivalent in education/experience.
  • Highly detailed oriented as well as demonstrated integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills and the ability to work will all levels of employees and management.
  • Similarly, the ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Furthermore, Human Resources Certification (PHR or SPHR) a plus.
