The APAC Marketing Science team is seeking an experienced measurement professional to partner with gaming advertisers to understand their consumers on Facebook and the effectiveness of their ad spend. Consumer behavior is rapidly changing and as a result marketing is changing. Facebook is uniquely positioned to influence the future of marketing given its reach and the capabilities of our platform. This role represents an opportunity to help shape that influence in one of the fastest growing regions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a desire to work at the forefront of advertising, and a passion for generating data-based insights. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to major advertisers on their measurement efforts but also to leverage internal and external data resources to help the client improve their ads effectiveness on Facebook and beyond. Applicants should be comfortable in a client-facing role, quantitatively oriented with experience in analyzing large datasets, focused on results, and self-motivated. This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead APAC gaming marketing science team, develop solid measurement strategy and plan
  • Align with key stake holders on the direction and partnership
  • Develop and grow team in capability and career
  • Lead key client conversations and influences client measurement thinking
  • Work closely with advertisers, FB internal partners and third parties to develop measurement study and analysis to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies on Facebook and beyond
  • Collaborate with industry partners to build thought leadership in gaming measurement.

Minimum Qualification

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, media/marketing measurement or analytics experience and general love of data and numbers
  • Track record of team leaders experience
  • Comfortable leading a team and also get hands dirty and step into critical client conversation
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Solid understanding of online advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
  • Gaming analytic experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and client-interaction skills are essential
  • Statistical analysis experience valuable, including but not limited to experimental design
  • Familiar behavior level data analysis and survey based research methods
  • Comfortable to consolidate learning from both structure data and non-structure data.
  • Quantitative background with strong Excel and SQL skills and the curiosity and persistence to work with large data sets
  • Fluency in English. Other Asia language is a plus.
