In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs.

About position

The Norwegian Refugee Council is looking for motivated, experienced and qualified Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to serve the war devasted country in the Southwest of Asia, Jordan.  Here are the roles and responsibilities Monitoring and Evaluation Manager Jobs in Norwegian Refugee Council

  • Responsible for design, development, and implementation of country office (CO) M&E frameworks and SOPs, guidance, and tools.
  • Advise management on M&E solutions/options in the design of M&E staffing, resourcing and budgeting for M&E, and M&E priorities for the CO.
  • Participate in programme design and proposal discussions, including the theory of change development, log frame design, and budgeting for M&E.
  • Support programme staff in planning for and executing M&E, including data collection methodology and tools, data management, analysis, and use.
  • Contribute to organizational learning through supporting specific analysis, lessons learned and reports.
  • Management of the M&E team
  • Capacity building (via mentoring and training) of the programme and M&E support staff on M&E technical and conceptual areas.
  • Supervise and mentor M+E support staff in executing M+E plans
