Works under the direction of the Production Supervisors in the Manufacturing Department. Responsible for all aspects of line operation including Cleaning, Change-Overs, Lubrication and Troubleshooting according to an established procedure, at a set pace while adhering to all safety regulations. Inspects product and completes required quality checks and necessary forms.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Come to work in an environment with a strong bias towards safety and action, operate the machine(s), keeping watch for any malfunction. Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of product as set by Quality Assurance and Packaging Production Standards. Inspect product according to production specifications, and quality standards. Manage changeovers as necessary, using basic hand tools when necessary as well as cleaning and sanitization.

Eligibility

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of WHMIS
  • Trained in the use of Walkie Stacker
  • IT Skills – Competent in the use of machine data and control systems
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or assignment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools
  • HACCP Trained an asset
  • Experience of manufacturing in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company an asset
