Recruiter position is available in the London office of Save the Children. Save the Children works on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection. It also campaigns and advocates at the highest levels to realize the right of children and to ensure their voices are heard. It is looking for a Recruiter, with experience of in-house recruitment within the international development sector. Moreover, the incumbent should be someone who enjoys delivering in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative, and multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

In this Recruiter role, you will partner with the business and lead on challenging international and domestic recruitment campaigns, securing high caliber talent that will support the delivery of its transformative organizational strategy; to become a High Performing Organization.

This is a role in which you can apply your technical expertise in direct sourcing to really make a difference. You will lead recruitment campaigns through the full lifecycle, ensuring alignment to our mission and core values, Talent Acquisition policy and process, as well as the organization’s Reward principles.  You will also help deliver Hiring Manager Recruitment trainings and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrable in-house recruiting experience within the NGO sector, besides a proven track record of successfully managing recruitment campaigns
  • A proven track record of sourcing, attracting, and recruiting national staff in at least one of the Regions where Save the Children operates
  • Likewise, experience with e-recruitment systems, Taleo is preferred
  • A demonstrable ability to make a valuable contribution and influence hiring managers
  • Passion and drive, a commitment to our mission, and the ability connect with and secure high caliber talent
  • Similarly, a proven track record of ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate fluently in English and work across cultures respecting diversity and inclusion
  • In addition, quality focused, with solid attention to detail
  • A collaborative and solution orientated approach
