About Position

One of the leading automotive industry Volkswagen is seeking highly qualified and motivated Software Engineers to join their amazing and diversified team. If you are a Software Engineer with great analytical and technical capabilities then this might be an ideal position for you. You will work to coordinate internal client requirements and agile implementation of IT services for automated driving.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Agile development of software tools for autonomous driving
• Assessment of requirements and implementation of features with agile methods of software development
• Building and configuration of toolchains and their implementation for the assurance of autonomous driving including continuous integration
• Compiling and evaluation of different architecture concepts for the realization of future IT tools
• Construction of integration concepts as well as coordination of the functional architecture
• Participation in test management: planning, creating and evaluation of tests as well as test automation
• Analysis as well as fixing incidents

Required Qualifications

• Degree in the field of computer science, business informatics or in a similar field
• Profound experiences in software development and in continuous integration (e.g. Atlassian Tools)
• Deep knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C++, C, Python)
• First experience with pair programming and with agile software development
• Experience with systems architecture as well as relevant cloud technologies (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Cloud Foundry)
• Excellent advanced English skills
• High degree of initiative, dedication and willingness to participate as well as a passion for finding solutions for complex tasks
