Duties
- Develop clear, compelling documentation including roadmaps and technical reports.
- Similarly, support documentation of digital health tools and mapping to relevant informatics standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR).
- Also, maintain document-related repositories (e.g., meeting minutes, technical deliverables, etc.) and document management processes.
- Likewise, use PATH/Digital Square tools and systems as needed for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Additionally, be responsive to client and PATH requests for technical updates, presentations, and information requests.
- Furthermore, other areas as directed by the Regional Director, CODE.
Qualifications for Technical Writer Vacancy at PATH in Kenya
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a similar subject, or similar/proven work experience.
- Likewise, 5 years of experience working in health information technology/informatics and business process documentation including system requirements and designs, enterprise architecture, hosting diagrams, business process flows, data flows, Gantt charts.
- Also, Experience developing workshop summaries, assessment reports, business plans, or similar reports and presentations.
- Furthermore, Advanced document creation, collaboration and management skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio or equivalent business process modelling notation (BPMN) skills.
- Excellent English oral, written, and presentation skills including example of report writing and/or presentations to be submitted with the application.
- Moreover, the incumbent must be able to communicate and engage effectively with both informational communication technology professionals, health sector and management-level professionals, and be able to facilitate communication between these.
