Applications are open for the position of Trade Compliance Specialist in London. As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you’ll bring knowledge of global trade compliance and make business decisions. You’ll join the Global Trade Compliance team to assist subject-matter experts, outside counsel and corporate auditors on risk assessment and in the development of new policies and procedures. You’ll also have the opportunity to provide advice on importing and goods based on your analysis of regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in import and export compliance audits and transaction testing.
  • Develop and conduct internal training programs.
  • Register new legal entities to import into countries across the EMEA region. Assist with filings related to export licenses and reporting requirements.

Eligibility

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in a trade-compliance capacity.
  • Industry experience working with import and/or export laws and regulation in the EMEA region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with export compliance.
  • Background in accounting and/or auditing.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, and learn in a fast-paced environment.
