The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announces a vacancy opening for Social Media Video Coordinator in WWE China. The position will assist the WWE team in Shanghai to manage social media platform operations, as well as support on various ad hoc social media projects. Chinese social media fluency, basic video editing skills, and WWE brand knowledge are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, daily social media platform operations & management, including video curation & ingestion, translating titles/metadata, content posting, and reporting
  • Working closely with social media platforms to optimize content exposure.
  • Assisting in the planning and management of video content calendar. Similarly, responsible for creating daily English-to-Mandarin subtitling.
  • Contributing to social media strategy, trend identification, campaign brainstorming, and ad-hoc market support.
  • Furthermore, providing miscellaneous support for digital and social projects.

Requirements 

The ideal candidate will have the

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Active social media user as well as a detail-oriented, quick-learner, with good communication skills.
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of WWE brand, storyline, and Superstars. Similarly, passion for digital media, American sports, and entertainment.
