Apply for the Vacancy for Finance & Operations Associate at MSH in Madagascar. Under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Manager, and in coordination with the District Coordinator, the District Finance and Operations Associate supports in the supervision and the financial, logistical, and contractual implementation of the project. He / She ensures that the operational implementation of activities at the district level complies with the financial and management system of MSH and other partners in the region.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with the policies & procedures of the various financial and operational activities of the district.
- Assist program staff with various rules and procedures, and ensure staff follows these rules.
- Also, guarantee the security of all assets (cash in hand, documentations, furniture, buildings) of the project at all times and propose/take related decisions.
- Likewise, ensure that periodic reports are submitted on time, accurate and reliable, in accordance with the requirements of the donor and the internal review.
- Carry out various administrative tasks and check staff leave situations.
- Similarly, scan and classify the various transactions for their systematic transmission to the SFO.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Additionally, carry out daily cash transactions and ensure that documentation is compliant with the financial directive, and ensure the validity and completeness of all transactions for transmission to the SFO.
- Also, monitor the various advances made by staff
Qualifications for Vacancy for Finance & Operations Associate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/administration / any other relevant field;
- Likewise, 2 to 4 years of experience in the financial management of international projects (budgeting, reporting, and analysis) or similar experience is required;
- Experience with aspects of US federal regulation, particularly USAID regulation is desirable;
- Also, experience working in a reputable organization on a budget, finance, and purchasing.
- Mastery of computer manipulation in Microsoft Office Suite and Web applications. Excel and Word required.
- Also, a good knowledge of accounting.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Furthermore, fluency in French and Malagasy required
- Ability to travel to different districts as needed to support program activities.
