About the Position

• The Fundraising Manager, at the P-4 level, in the PSFR Section, in the country office of Chile, reports to the Representative, who is at the P-5 level.
• The Chilean country office is a medium-sized office with an annual budget of approximately $10 million USD with a strong and vital fundraising area.
• Additionally, nder the general guidance of the Representative, the Fundraising Manager is responsible for overall coordination, planning, development, and management of resource mobilization.
• Also, partnership strategy to engage relevant partners, raise the necessary funds and support accountability of transparent contribution management.

Duties

• Defining objectives and priorities related to the target audience, fundraising and mobilization techniques/channels, needs for investment and resources, etc, and coordinates its implementation.
• Also, setting and achievement of income budgets and for setting and keeping to cost budgets.
• Likewise, encouraging the various segments of Chilean society to simultaneously adhere to the UNICEF cause and contribute to its sustainability in Chile.
• Also, the construction of effective alliances with companies and businessmen who can share the responsibility for the implementation of the actions proposed by UNICEF in the country.
• Similarly, support to the development of a culture of social responsibility and upgrading of the social investments by clients and partners in order to ensure coherence and sustainability of their relationship with UNICEF
• Additionally, the candidate will make recommendations on partnerships and fundraising strategies and management issues to achieve stated objectives.
• Moreover, he/she will make recommendations on the introduction of new initiatives in the country.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree or first bachelor degree and relevant equivalent background in Business Administration, Marketing, management, Communications. Also, Social Sciences, Public Administration, International Relations, Public Health, Education, or other related fields.
• Additionally, a minimum of eight years of professional work experience at the national and international levels. Also, they should have progressively increased responsibilities in Fundraising. Fundraising experience.
• Additionally, the extent experience in fundraising with individual donors and understanding of corporate social responsibility is an asset.
