Apply for the Vacancy for Project Lead at WEF in India. The Project Lead will report to the head of the electricity industry and will build a close working relationship with colleagues from of the Energy and Materials Platform. He or she will also work closely with the Forum’s Regional Teams to ensure strategic engagement with the public and private sector.
The Project Lead would develop a strategy and execute an India specific program based on existing global initiatives. Over the past year, several scoping sessions have been held in India, in order to identify where public and private collaboration could make an impact to help speed a sustainable energy transition. Furthermore, there are two relevant global initiatives that have content that could be adapted for the Indian context including Systemic Efficiency, with a focus on the energy transition in cities, as well as the global Cyber Resilience for Electricity initiative.
Strategy: The successful candidate with creating and execute a strategy and program for stakeholder action. He/she will focus on enabling the energy transition in a more sustainable way.
Community Building: Manage and cultivate relationships with stakeholders from the public and private sector, and create multi-stakeholder working groups to focus on the specific initiatives. Additionally, serve as the neutral facilitator and regularly convene the community around common objectives and deliverables. Furthermore, in India, there is a nascent energy community focused on the future of the electricity system. In addition, several stakeholders have expressed interest to build a working group focused on Cyber Resilience.
