Duties

• Support the EU Delegation, the Senate and Assemblies’ stakeholders, and the technical assistance team in achieving the overall objective, purpose, and results of the project.
• Likewise, lead the technical assistance team in assisting, supporting, and building the capacities of the National and Provincial Assemblies and the Senate to strengthen the identified parliamentary functions and the performance of the Assemblies.
• Additionally, assist the EU Delegation in tasks related to the facilitation of donor coordination as well as in tasks related to the Project Steering Committee and specific working committees in the Assemblies.
• Be responsible for the overall project coordination and execution, including (but not limited to)
  • supervision of professional staff and experts,
  • Also, establishment and review of programmatic and budgetary priorities,
  • Likewise, submission of required work plans and reports,
  • Also, communication and coordination with all stakeholders.

Qualifications and skills

• At least a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science, Management or equivalent.
• Also, demonstrated analytical, negotiation, cross-cultural, and interpersonal skills.
• Likewise, excellent communication and knowledge transfer skills.
• Also, good leadership and coordination skills.
• Likewise, excellent report writing skills.
• Also, the ability to work collaboratively with technical assistance supported by different entities.
• Excellent command of English.

General professional experience

• At least 10 years of professional experience in development cooperation.
• Also, at least 5 years of experience in team management comprising international and local experts, including multi-sectoral teams.
• Additionally, experience as a Team Leader or equivalent on complex projects.
• Experience in South Asia and in particular Pakistan would be considered an advantage.
