There is an announcement for the Vacancy for Technical Field Manager at DRC in Colombia. Interested candidates can apply for the position until 20th May 2020.

Duties

The incumbent will do the following duties

• Carry out and maintain a global risk assessment for your AOR and specific for each of the tasks.
• Also, develop and implement Intervention / Operations Plans (PoI / PoE) in your AOR, in line with strategic planning and risk assessment, for Clearance / EOD operations and Non-Technical Study.
• Additionally, assign, lead, and supervise the resources/teams under their control to carry the PoI / POI.
• Likewise, ensure through supervision and technical support that demining teams carry out their tasks safely, in compliance with approved operating procedures (POA) and National Standards (ENDH).
• Also, advise the Operations Manager in establishing the technical response capacity to comply with the AICMA tasks assigned to DDG.

Qualifications

• EOD 3 international (military or equivalent) or EOD 2 accredited in Colombia.
• Higher or equivalent degree with 3 years of experience; or 5 accumulated years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Additionally, demonstrable experience in humanitarian demining operations, ENDH and IMAS.
• Experience in leadership and team training.
• Also, demonstrable experience in project management.
• Likewise, good knowledge of computer management and data acquisition.
• Also, B1 / B2 driving license.

Skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work in remote and complex environments.
