UCLAN postgraduate scholarships are available at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in the UK. The scholarships are available to outstanding candidates pursuing PhD (via MPhil) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Astrophysics in the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute. Applications are open for both domestic and international students.
The University of Central Lancashire is a public university in Lancashire, England. Internationally the University has academic partners in all regions of the globe and it is on a world stage that the first class quality of its education was first recognized. Also, the university has been at the forefront of developing degrees in emerging disciplines. These disciplines include Fashion, Forensic Science and Aerospace Engineering. Further, the university has a portfolio of 400 undergraduate and 200+ postgraduate courses. Open to international students, UCLAN provides a number of scholarships to support undergraduate as well as postgraduate students seeking tertiary study in the UK.
The UCLAN postgraduate scholarships are tenable for 3.5 years full-time, or 5 years part-time (subject to satisfactory progress). It will cover the cost of tuition fees at UK/EU rates (2019-20 rate pa full-time £4300, part-time £2150). Also, UCLAN studentships will provide a maintenance grant (2019-20 rate £15009 pa, pro-rata for part-time) for study in the UK.
However, International applicants will require to pay the difference in tuition fees. Also, international applicants may only apply for full-time study.

However, current UCLAN students will not be eligible for the scholarships.
To apply for the postgraduate scholarship at UCLAN, applicants must fill up the studentship/bursary form which is available online. Further, completed application forms should be returned to the Research Student Registry via email quoting the studentship reference number: RS/19/04.
Moreover, international scholars will require to secure their visa to study in the UK themselves.
Postgraduate applicants must submit their UCLAN scholarships application with the proper reference number. Further, Applicants must submit their application no later than 10 May 2019.
