Dartmouth College offers scholarships to its students only on the basis of their need status, that means all of the university scholarships are dependent upon your need. Above all, it guarantees to meet 100% of the demonstrated need of every admitted student who applies for financial aid at the time of admission. Moreover, Dartmouth practices need-blind admissions for all applicants who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and undocumented students in the U.S. International students are also eligible for need-based aid. Amounts range from $1,000 to over $70,000, depending on our determination of your eligibility. The average financial aid package is of $52069.

Eligibility for Aid

  • All admitted students are eligible to receive aid.
  • Award amount depends on your financial status. It is determined by from your cost of attendance and family contribution. Free tuition is provided for students from families with total incomes of $100,000 or less—and possessing typical assets.
  • Also, you need to submit all required documents for financial aid by November 1st for Early Decision applicants, February 1st for Regular Decision applicants and by March 1st for Transfer Applications.

To receive Dartmouth Scholarship, you need to submit the following documents in addition to your application for admission

  • Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC)
  • CSS Profile
  • Supplemental Forms, for instance, Non-custodial PROFILE Waiver Request Form, Business Farm Supplement 2019-2020, Non-Filing Statement for Parents 2019-2020
