Black Girl Venture (BGV) Chicago Pitch Program 2025 ($30,000+ in Cash Prizes)

Applications for the Black Girl Venture (BGV) Chicago Pitch Program 2025 are now open. The BGV Pitch program flips the traditional pitch experience on its head: they coach entrepreneurs, host a live crowdfunded pitch competition, and connect you to community and professionals to support you on your journey. They democratize funding by allowing the audience to vote with their dollars using the Raisify platform for the founders whose pitch they favor. Each founder has 3 minutes to pitch, followed by a 2-minute Q&A with the audience.

The person with the most votes wins (not the most money raised). The live crowdfunding event is high-energy, fun, and focused on creating a supportive environment that includes the community in the entrepreneurial journey.

During the Pitch Program Participants will:

• Create a 3-minute pitch for your business
• Engage in 2 pitch practices to help you effectively deliver your pitch for the competition and beyond.
• Receive feedback and tips on an effective pitch deck.
• Enter the BGV Universe through the Alumni program, where you will gain access to capital, connections, resources, and exclusive updates and offerings.

To be considered for this program, applicants must be:

• Identifying as a under-resourced women founder.
• Revenue generating.
• 51% owned by under-resourced women founder(s).
• In good standing.
