Are you on the lookout for international competitions to showcase your writing skills? The Drucker Challenge Essay Contest 2025 is now open for submissions! Organized by the Drucker Society Europe, this prestigious competition honors the legacy of social philosopher Charles Handy, exploring the concept of the “second curve”—a powerful metaphor for embracing change in life, leadership, and business. Participants are invited to reflect on pivotal moments—whether personal, professional, or organizational—and examine how a ‘second curve’ mindset can help navigate transitions with wisdom and purpose.
The contest welcomes entries in two main categories: Student and Professional. The Student category is open to current university students or recent graduates seeking their first professional experience. The Professional category targets individuals who are managing projects, leading teams, or driving change—such as entrepreneurs, certified professionals, and community leaders.
Essays must be between 1,500 and 3,000 words, and the contest is open to participants of any nationality, with no entry fee required. Top entries stand the chance to win cash prizes, including €2,000 for first place, €1,200 for second, and €1,000 for third. Finalists placing fourth through tenth each receive €500. This is a unique opportunity to share your perspective on leadership and transformation on a global stage—don’t miss out!
