KANOPI FEB UI, a student organization at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia organizes Economix: Global Economic Essay Challenges, an annual international event.

The event aims to be the medium for participants of diverse background and disciplines to share, discuss, and potentially find solutions to current global economic issues. Participants from countries all over the globe can take part in our three main events: International Seminar, Competition, and Economic – MUN while enjoying an extravagant International Gathering. Besides, participants can join the Essay competition.

The 17th Economix: Global Economic Challenges Essay Competition theme is ‘Inequality in the Modern Era: An Unresolved Question’. Moreover, the competition observes participants’ ideas and knowledge concerning world’s ability in maintaining its economic performances in the moment of not only incessant global economic problems but also many fundamental obstacles which have internally occurred in every country over the world.

The winners of Economix : Global Economic Essay Challenges 2019 will receive:

After the submission, a panel of judges consisting of national and international academicians will judge the essay. The judges will announce three finalists among which they will select the grand prize winner.

• 1st Winner US$ 200
• 2nd Winner US$ 150
• 3rd Winner US$ 100

Who is eligible for the Global Economic Essay Challenges?

The global economic essay challenges is an international competition and are open for students all over the world. Moreover, the students must meet the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the competition:

• Undergraduate students from universities from all over the world may participate in the global Economic essay competition
• Further, participants in the essay competition are single individuals.
• Participants must submit the essay online. While a panel of judges who are experts in their fields, which consist of national and international academicians, economists, lecturers, and practitioners, will assess the essay.
• The winners of the Essay Competition will be announced on October 13, 2019. Further, the three best essays will be selected to receive the prize.

How to apply for the Global Economic Essay Challenges?

Participants must register for the 17th Economix: Global Economic Essay Challenges before submitting their essay. The registration process, as well as the essay submission process, is online. Candidates interested to apply may do so before the deadline.
