Egypt International Science & Technology Fair (EISTF) is an international science competition that hosts an annual event for students from all over Egypt, as well as other countries. Students showcase their research and compete for awards in 20 different categories. Additionally, this year EISTF is hosting the first annual EISTF Hackathon and EISTF Talk. Moreover, the international Science & Technology Fair aims to discover creative students from different countries and giving them the opportunity to display their projects to achieve their dreams. Further, it aims to enhance both the quality and type of projects that contribute to developing the world.

The goal of EISTF is to Develop the skills of scientific research and the spirit of innovation in Egypt and all over the world. Also, Organizing an International Fair to help improve Egypt’s scientific rank among countries by providing a non-competitive setting where adult science professionals can guide and encourage young students, that focuses on learning and personal growth rather than on prize-winning.

Why Egypt International Science & Technology Fair?

The participants will compete on average for a share of $10,000 in awards and prizes in the Egypt International Science & Technology Fair. Judges will assess students’ projects on their creative ability and scientific thought, as well as the thoroughness, skill, and clarity.

Who is eligible to participate in the Egypt International Science & Technology Fair?

Students from all around can participate in the International Science and Technology Fair in Egypt. Moreover, the students may be high-school students (age 14-21) or university students (19-senior year). Further, the students must meet the EISTF requirements which include:

• Students may not participate with more than one project.
• The project must pass the Display and Safety Committee as well as the Review Committee to be able to participate.
• Students can participate in an individual or group project. However, group members should not exceed three students.
• The team does not have the right to change team members at any stage of the fair.
• It is possible for the research project to be a part of an extensive study carried out by specialized scientists. However, part of the research presented should be the student’s idea done exclusively by the student.
• In the case of constant scientific theft or falsification or fabrication of information, or use the work of other researchers without reference, the project will be permanently excluded from the exhibition.

How to apply for the EISTF 2019?

To apply for the Egypt International Science & Technology Fair, applicants will require to complete and submit the online registration form. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria as well as register for the program before the deadline.
