European Fashion Award FASH 2019 invites application for the 2019 Fashion Design Competition. The European Fashion Award FASH 2019 focuses on the sustainable promotion of young design students. Two days of intensive workshops, exchange and networking await them. It is a wonderful opportunity to receive extensive support of a large network for the promotion in social media and contacts. As well as, it is an opportunity to involve yourself in an intensive workshop with top-class experts and the jury on topics such as portfolio consulting, applicant training and pattern design from draping to digital techniques.

Prizes

The European Fashion Award FASH 2019 is presented in three categories.

Students Prize:

• 1.000 euro prizemoney
• Also, paid 3-week internship with workwear manufacturer Engelbert Strauss

Graduates Bachelor Prize:

• 2.000 euro prizemoney

Graduates II Prize:

• 2.000 euro prizemoney

Furthermore, the European Fashion Award FASH will provide individually tailored coaching to the winners. It will further publish the winner at its site.

All 20 finalists will receive a participation in the two-day European Fashion Award FASH

How To Apply

In order to evaluate your work optimally, it is important that you comply with the following standards.

• A Portfolio of previous projects, working process, sketches, moods, details such as draping, technical drawings: On one page the works you want to present in the FASH Showroom.
• A Letter of motivation explaining your expectation from the European Fashion Design Competition and your professional aim.
• Further, a Curriculum Vitae
• Also, Proof of matriculation at a university or date of the final examination

Applicants must combine all documents in one (1) PDF no more than 7MB and 25 pages. Further, the filename and the first page should contain the participation’s number. Participation Number are available to the participants after their registration.

Applicants must submit the documents the one drive platform, the link to which will be available after the successful participation.

Application Deadline

Applicants may make their submission within May 2019. European Fashion Award FASH application deadline is on May 15, 2019, midnight. The selection jury will commence the selection and announce the finalists on June 3, 2019. The Finalists will be awarded in Berlin in the European Fashion Award FASH 2019 even in June 30-July 1. The finalists will present up to 10 realized outfits to the jury in addition to their portfolio. Also, the clothes rack will be available for each finalist in the showroom.
