The European GNSS Agency, the operational arm of the European Commission for the EU Space Programme calls application for EUSPA Logo Design Contest 2020. The EUSPA Logo Design Contest is a great opportunity for the GSA to open up its lines of communication and connect with a new community other than our GNSS niche. Taking part in this contest will be an asset for students and recent graduates who are looking to kickstart their careers and for professionals to enrich their portfolios with a logo that will always be a point of reference for their professional pathways.

The EUSPA Logo Design Contest is encouraging fresh thinking and innovation. Participants are asked to submit up to two design proposals that will capture the quintessence of the new agency in a visually striking, aesthetically appealing logo. The ideal design will be simple, yet able to tell a story that encapsulates the activities of the agency, but most importantly ensures brand recognition for EUSPA.

Prizes

The winner of EUSPA Logo Design Contest will win receive the following things

  • The winner will take home up to 15,000 euros.
  • Additionally, they will benefit from promotions and media coverage.

Eligibility

  • Open to European graphic designers and visual artists.
  • Applicants may be students, young professionals, or established graphic design companies.

Logo Requirements

The logo

  • May consists of any signs, in particular words or designs, letters, numerals, colours.
  • Should be simple and clear.
  • Should have, as a whole, a highly distinctive character, i.e. be original, innovative and creative.
  • May contain one strong element which could acquire, on its own, a distinctive character.
  • Will be used for several purposes such as letterheads, business cards, social media, and website. It should thus be transferable in small size and easy to use for web purposes.
  • Needs to be recognizable when printed as small as 1.5 cm and as large as 150cm.

  • Its graphical representation
