In general, the Global Maker Challenge on Sustainable and Healthy Food for All aims to find and support innovative solutions that will promote urban access to healthy and sustainable food for all. • Creating more efficient supply chains and reduce food loss and waste.
• Reducing hunger, malnutrition, and food-related illnesses in urban areas.

Moreover, the successful winner of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Maker Challenge 2020 will receive an amount of up to 1000,000 USD.

Eligibilities

This competition is open to all startups, business models, innovators, as well as makers. However, applicants must submit proof of concept and prototype that has practical and effective solutions for the challenge. But the concept must have a high positive impact and influence on the problem or challenge.

• Feasibility; It is feasible to implement the solution, and also the team has a plan for the solution to sustain itself financially.
