China Hardware Product Design Competition has been held for 13 times since its foundation in 2006. As an international design competition, it attracts the participation of designers from dozens of colleges and universities, design companies as well as independent designers from more than 20 countries and regions around the world. In order to improve innovative design ability of hardware and promote hardware product development in China, the 14^th China Hardware Product Design Competition formally opens.

The competition is open for all individuals, home and abroad. Moreover, the competition invites designers to compete in the following four categories:

1. Feijian Vacuum Cup Competition
2. Yibo Storage Products Competition
3. Yicheng Environmental Protection Equipment Design Competition
4. HaiLi Hose Reel Products Design Competition

Awards + Prizes

In each of the three categories, there is one golden prize, two silver prizes, three bronze prizes, and five excellent prizes as well as several Entry prizes and Excellent organization awards set. If the golden prize is vacant, the jury will use the bonus in the additional setting of silver, bronze, and excellent awards.

Entry rules

• All entrants must be sure that their entry is entirely their own work. Further, they may not make multiple submission. Also, entries which are not in accordance with the rules are ineligible for prize consideration.
• The entry layout should compose of the following contents: category of competition, more than two main views of the product, design instruction, title of the entry (there should be NO name of participants in the entry layout).
• Format of the entry: JPG file, A2 (420mm*594mm), 200dpi.
• For one entry entrants must only provide one layout.
• Unlimited representation skills as long as the ideas are clearly shown.

Entry procedures

• It’s totally Free to enter the competition, you need to fill in the application form and send your entries along with the application form by email.
• After two round judge, the judges will pick out the final winner
• Also, Winners should pay personal income tax and the committee will pay it on behalf of the winner from the bonus.

Deadline

Applicants may make a submission in the Hardware Product Design Competition no later than 15 September 2019. The jury will announce the short-listed entries in Mid October 2019. Further, the jury will announce the final result in November 2019.
