Hawkswell Theater invites the creationists, artists, and poets all around the world for the international iYeats Poetry Competition 2019. The iYeats competition started in 2009 to mark the 50th Yeats International Summer School and the 70th anniversary of the death of W. B Yeats. The international competition is an annual online poetry competition which has won a prestigious reputation for the caliber of both entrants and judges. The competition is open to all those 16 years of age and upwards. Hawkswell Theater awards an overall prize across the board of entries and an emerging prize to a young poet aged between 16-25 years of age to its winner of iYeats international Poetry Competition.
As the winner of the Hawkswell iYeats international poetry competition, the winner in the General category will receive an award of €500. Further, for the emerging category, Hawkswell provides the winner with a cash prize of €300.
Anyone over the age of 16 years is eligible to apply for the Poetry Competition. However, to compete for the Emerging Category, a poet must be of age between 16-25 years.
Moreover, iYeats Poetry Competition is online. Hence, Hawkswell accepts entries from international poets as well. The poets may only make an online entry.
Hawkswell Theater will only accept online entry for the iYeats International Poetry Competition. Further, entrants must adhere to the following rules:
Further to enter the competition, entrants must make a payment as the submission fee. Entrants will require to pay €5 per poem or €12 for three poems. Payment must be made in Euros currency only. Please make your payment to [email protected] via Paypal. In the title bar write ‘For iYeats Competition’. In the message box, write your name (the poet’s name).
Hawkswell Theater will accept entries for the international iYeats Poetry Competition until Wednesday 3rd July 2019, 11 am (GMT). Entries arriving later will not be eligible for the competition.
