Applications are now open for the InfraVision International Competition 2025! This global online contest invites students from diverse fields—such as urban planning, architecture, engineering, computer science, economics, public policy, and more—to come together and design the future of urban infrastructure. Participants will form teams and develop innovative solutions to improve large-scale infrastructure projects in sectors like energy, transportation, and telecommunications.

Launched by the Think Tank InfraVision, founded by Vauban IP with support from Altermind, the 2025 competition revolves around the theme: “The City as Network: Reimagining Urban Infrastructure.” The challenge encourages students to propose forward-thinking ideas that address urban development over the next 30 years. Submissions should include thoughtful approaches to design, planning, technology, stakeholder engagement, and decarbonization strategies in selected cities.

This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world challenges, gain international exposure, and receive feedback from a distinguished panel of experts, including renowned architect Sadie Morgan. The top three teams will receive cash prizes—€10,000 for first place, €7,000 for second, and €3,000 for third. Eligibility Criteria for InfraVision International Competition 2025:

• Students from all over the world can apply for this online contest.
• Students can apply as a team. Teams can consist of 1 to 5 members.
• All team members must have an active student status during the academic year 2024-2025
• There are no faculty or disciplinary requirements.
• The project submitted may include: Design and planning, Stakeholder engagement, Technology and innovation, Sustainability, and Urban network integration.

Benefits of the InfraVision International Competition 2025:

• There will be three winners of this online competition.
• The first winner will get a prize of 10,000 euros.
• The 2nd-placed team will get 7,000.
• The 3rd-placed team will get 3,000 euros.
