Are You Ready to Solve a Problem? 100&change is a MacArthur Foundation competition for $100 million grant to fund a single proposal. Further,  that will measure progress towards solving a problem.

Moreover, They are open to ideas that identify a single problem and its potential solution too. Also, they hope to inspire a wide range of application who propose a real and measurable solution to the problem.

• Proposals focused on any critical issue are welcome.
• Further, any organization or legal entity, except for government agencies, can apply, subject to eligibility rules. Multiple organizations may collaborate on a single application.
• Also, Individuals cannot apply.
• No sector or field is out of bounds for this competition. All proposals, however, must propose a serious solution to a significant problem that has a charitable purpose. Proposals must then pass through a rigorous application process and meet the requirements of being impactful, evidence-based, feasible, and durable.

Step 2
Registration

Register your organization to begin the application process. Further, Any organization or legal entity can apply, subject to eligibility rules. Also, Multiple organizations may collaborate on a single application.

Step 3
Application
Jul 17 – Aug 6, 2019
Describe an urgent, significant problem, and propose a bold and lasting solution. Additionally,  Your idea can come from any field or sector, but the solution must be impactful, evidence-based, feasible, and durable.

Step 4
Peer-to-Peer Review
Sep 4 – 24, 2019
Each valid application will be scored using a common rubric and will receive feedback from five applicants within the same domain. Further, based on the rank order of scores, up to 500 applications will move forward.

Step 5
Wise Head Panel
Sep 2019 – Feb 2020
Up to 500 applications will receive an additional set of five scores and comments from their Wise Head Panel. Also, based on the rank order of scores, up to 120 applications will receive a technical review.
