Photography and Literature is an international photography competition dealing with the challenge of literature.

This exciting interplay between photography and literature gives photographers the opportunity to explore and submit photographic works on the subject of literature.

Eligibility

• This competition is for the photographers and is for works that got inspiration from specific works of literature.
• The choice of literary form (poetry, prose, drama, etc.) is open.
• Only one entry per person will be accepted. Also, the entry shall not exceed 9 MB.

Prizes for Photography and Literature

There will be 10 winners in the competition.

The main prizes are:

• 800€ for First Place
• 500€ for Second Place
• 300€ for Third Place

Events and Deadlines

• In the anniversary year (10 years of wortimbild) 10 exhibitions will take place during the TDDL (June 22  to June 26, 2022) in 10 places in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.
• The launch event with a book presentation/ vernissage will take place on June 15th, 2022 at the Robert Musil Institute/ Robert Musil Literature Museum.
