Apply for Posterheroes Contest 2021. Posterheroes is an international contest about social communication that calls for posters (70×100 cm) about social and environmental issues. Every year, Posterheroes invites students, professional designers, and everyone who is into graphic design to create a poster about topics of social interest. All the works are judged by a selection panel composed by some of the most relevant experts of the graphic design and visual communication field.

Prizes and Awards

• The Organizers will decide the winner of the cash prize (2.500€) based on 40 posters preselected by the Selection Panel.
• The 40 winner poster will be subject of the 6th edition of Graphic Days Torino and the future exhibition curated by the Organizers of the Contest.
• The 40 winner poster will be published on posterheroes website: www.posterheroes.org.
• The organizers have the right to not give the cash prize in case they’ll not found a worthy project
• Each of the twelve (12) authors of the posters selected for the realization of the 2022 Calendar will be honored with a copy of it, designed by the Cultural Plug Association and realized by Favini Company, which will be sent to them by ordinary mail.

Technical Requirements

• 70 x 100 cm vertical format.
• Size 10 MB, maximum resolution of 150 dpi is recommended.
• Winners of the Contest will then be contacted for the sending of the elaborated high resolution, with characteristics conforming to the print for the prize of the Calendar.
• Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PDF, PNG
• Color Profile: CMYK.
• Technique: free.
• Under penalty of disqualification, submissions must not display any symbol or signature that may identify the work’s author.
• Text added to a drawing must be in English; no other language will be accepted.
