Rogers Indigenous Film Fund (RIFF) Program 2024/2025 (up to $20,000)

The Rogers Indigenous Film Fund (RIFF) Program gives companies and creators financing assistance for early development work of a new project, or ‘next phase’ early development work of an existing project. Designed in close consultation with the Indigenous community and industry, eligible filmmakers and creatives can now apply.

Privately supported by the Rogers Group of Funds and administered by Creative BC, the Rogers Indigenous Film Fund (RIFF) offers crucial financial support to Indigenous filmmakers and creatives at various stages of their careers, including emerging, early, and mid-career professionals. The fund is designed to empower Indigenous storytellers by providing the necessary resources to bring their unique perspectives and narratives to the screen. RIFF helps recipients either develop new projects or continue the early stages of development on a proposed work. By fostering creative growth and encouraging innovation in Indigenous filmmaking, the fund plays a vital role in amplifying Indigenous voices and supporting their contributions to the broader film and media landscape.
