Scale AI Canada STEM Youth Awareness Program for Nonprofits 2025 (up to $150,000)

Scale AI is launching a new project call as part of its STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), aiming to engage more than 10,000 youth across Canada. This initiative aims to pursue Scale AI’s mission to focus on education in artificial intelligence and data science for pre-university students from all backgrounds.

With a budget of $600,000, this program supports organizations in developing impactful projects that enhance access to STEM careers while fostering a more inclusive and diverse workforce. By funding concrete initiatives, it aims to break barriers, create opportunities, and inspire underrepresented groups to pursue STEM education and careers. Organizations are encouraged to design innovative solutions that address existing gaps by providing mentorship, training, and resources to empower individuals in STEM fields. Through strategic investment, the program drives long-term change by equipping diverse talent with essential skills and opportunities, strengthening the industry with a broad range of perspectives. By prioritizing inclusivity, this initiative expands access to STEM, ensures equal opportunities, and fosters innovation through representation, ultimately contributing to a more equitable and dynamic workforce.

Funding of Scale AI

• Reimbursement of up to 100% of eligible costs, with a maximum of $150,000 per project for a total of $600,000 for all projects.

Eligibility for Scale AI

• Open to Non-profit organizations established in Canada.
• Initiatives for training in artificial intelligence and data science.
• Applying organizations must be based in Canada.
• Projects must benefit Canadian pre-university students.
• Minimum of 1,000 participants per program.
• An approach valuing diversity and inclusion is an asset.
