Applications call for the Mobile Photo Awards 2020. The Mobile Photo Awards is the longest-running international competition open exclusively to photographs shot & edited on all mobile phones and tablets. Founded in 2011, the award recognizes and celebrates the talent and imagery of the mobile phone photo & art communities. Alongside the annual competition (October-December), it produces themed exhibits with international open calls throughout the year.

The MPA Exhibits are a feature for the winning images from the annual competition and are chosen from thousands by a jury of twenty photographic professionals, journalists, teachers, artists, and leaders of the photography, mobile photography, and art worlds.

The Mobile Photography Awards has 20 photo categories including a Photo Essay with its own prize of $500. Every image entered may be placed in up to two (2) categories. All category winners receive MPA prize packs and are included on the exclusive MPA Exhibit Tour, with further opportunities for fine art sales.

Eligible

• Photographers of all ages and countries of residence are welcome to submit images. There are no restrictions on submission eligibility with regard to age or residence unless prohibited by the jurisdiction in which the entrant resides.
• Images shot and edited on any mobile phone or tablet including iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, Windows Phones, and the iPod touch are eligible to enter in Mobile Photo Awards 2020.

Prizes

The Mobile Photo Awards has the following prizes

• The Grand Prize Winner: $3000 (US)
• The Photo Essay winner: $500 (US)

Submission Guidelines 

• Entries are accepted directly through the upload module accessible from your profile page. It is in your best interest to submit your images as hi-res files without excessive compression. Images must be a minimum of 640 pixels wide and no larger than 10mb.
• Images may only be submitted by respective copyright owners, and entries that infringe copyright laws are invalid. Images submitted may be used for a full-color exhibition catalog and MPA promotion.
