Applications are open for Modular Home Design Challenge 2021. The Modular Home Design Challenge 2021 is the first in a series of annual competitions focusing on the concept of modular architecture.

As one of the most versatile forms of design, modular architecture offers creative, efficient, and sustainable solutions when designing homes and living spaces. Operating either as a building block that is part of an integrated system or as a stand-alone entity, modular construction breaks from traditionally built projects and allows novel designs to be realized.

This is the first competition in an annual competition series and is being launched in combination with an essay competition on the same topic. As winning entries will be featured in the next edition of ARCHHIVE BOOKS’ ‘Modular Architecture’ publication, those designs that are the most innovative and inspiring will be favored.

The winners:

• get international art and design media coverage
• will be featured on the Bee Breeders website
• will be featured on the Bee Breeders social pages
• will be included in the ARCHHIVE BOOKS “What is Modular Architecture?” print publication.

Criteria

• Competition is open to all.
• No professional qualification is necessary.
• Design proposals can be developed individually or by teams (4 team members maximum).
• Correspondence with organizers must be conducted in English.
• All information submitted by participants must be in English.
