Nomination is open for WIN WIN Sustainability Youth Award 2022 for young people who are playing an active role in creating a more sustainable future.

WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award is a leading international award that aims to empower and recognize young people who play an active role in the creation of a more sustainable future. The award is presented to recognize the efforts and contributions of those who work for sustainable aquaculture decisively and with a firm commitment.

Theme 2022

The theme for the WIN-WIN Sustainability Youth Award 2022 is Aquaculture.

The world’s food production is responsible for around 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions and is the primary reason for the loss of biological diversity, deforestation, and endangered fish stocks. To solve the world’s future food supply, we need to look into the possibilities – and challenges – that blue and green foods can provide.

Award

Awarding ceremony will be during the award week held in October 2022

Award value: The winner will receive SEK 50.000 (Sweden krona) equivalent to up to USD 6,000.

The WIN WIN will also cover the following:

• travel and hotel expenses in Gothenburg during the award in October 2022
• Accommodation during the award ceremony

Eligibility

• people, organizations, or movements from all across the world that strive to combat corruption.
• Also, nominees should be between 13 to 29 years old (born between 1993 and 2009).
• Nominees have to demonstrate an interest in sustainable development.
• In addition, the organizations can have different age spans.

How to make a submission?

Applicants to the WIN WIN Youth Award should present a recent or continuing project/work/initiative to the jury.

Qualified applicants (individuals and institutions) can fill out and submit the nomination form online.
