Y Combinator Summer Fellows Grants 2025 ($20,000 grants)

This summer, Y Combinator will be giving grants to college students to work on their own technical projects.

Benefits of Y Combinator

• The grants will be $20,000 in cash and $90,000 in compute credits from Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google GCP.
• Summer Fellows will also be invited to YC’s AI Startup School June 16 – 17, and they will also hold some special events.

Eligibility for Y Combinator

• Any undergraduate computer science or engineering college student, including freshmen and students outside the US.
• They will consider undergraduate students with different majors if they can show they’re extremely technical e.g. impressive open-source contributions.
