The GG2 Leadership Awards recognize and reward high achievers within black, Asian as well as ethnic minorities groups and celebrate the very best of multicultural Britain. The awards will be presented at the 21st annual GG2 Leadership Awards dinner on 10th October 2019 in Central London. Moreover, the GG2 announces application open for the Young Journalist of the Year Award 2019.
The Young Journalist of the Year Award is open to all journalists age 30 or under and will go to a new talent who has proved to be outstanding in print, online, radio or television journalism. Also, the winner will have the chance, if appropriate, of two weeks of work experience in the newspaper.
GG2 will award the journalists in 16 categories. Further, the winners will get an opportunity to have a two-week experience in the newspaper if applicable. The categories
The journalism competition is open to all and unrestricted by borders. Moreover, citizens from all nationalities can enter the competition. However, entrants must be over the age of 18 years to enter the international journalism competition.
Moreover, the entrants may be nominated by others as well as they may self nominate themselves for the award. Also, if shortlisted as a finalist, the entrants must attend the GG2 Leadership Awards ceremony on Thursday 10 October 2019, where the winners will be announced.
To compete in the Young Journalist of the Year Award 2019, the entrants may submit an online submission form available here. Further, the entrants may nominate themselves for the international award or be nominated by a person who knows their work best. The online form will require the details of the journalist, as well as the person nominating them. Further, entrants may submit up to three works via the same submission.
Entrants may submit their articles for Young Journalist of the Year Awards until June 21, 2019. GG2, however, will not consider entries eligible passing the deadline.
