GYLF welcomes applications of participants from leading institutions in the realm of politics, business, as well as the non-governmental sector of any part of the world for GLOBSEC Young Leaders Forum 2022!

The forum will look for ideas on how to build a safer and more resilient world. Therefore, the discussion will be framed by current trends focusing on Democratic Renewal & Power of the Society, Sustainable World & Economic Recovery, World in the New Digital Era, Geopolitical Chessboard, and Security in the 21^st Century.

What will happen in the GLOBSEC Young Leaders

1. GLOBSEC Young Leaders Forum enables 25 young professionals to participate in formal and informal, off-the-record discussions with high-profile politicians, decision-makers, thought leaders, and think-thankers.
2. GYLF 2022  will give young professionals the chance to actively participate in several main sessions of the GLOBSEC Forum as well as engage in the Q&A parts of debates.
3. Finally, participants may also take part in the process of formulating strategic policy proposals and suggest plans for action on the most pressing issues, with the GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum’s 17th edition focusing on three acute challenges of today: sustainability, trust , and change.

Requirements 

• Between 25 and 35 years of age  
• Experience in one of the following fields:
  • European and global politics and economy
  • defense and security
  • strategic communication
  • digital policies
  • energy and sustainability
  • any other field relevant to current international relations  
• Also, have the working knowledge of English  
• Willingness to engage in regular online activity over an extended period 
• In addition, candidates must submit the  online application form  by midnight CET, 11th March 2022.

Please note that recruitment will be on a competitive basis.

Costs Covered by the Program

1. There is no participation fee for the program.
2. accommodation and board
3. GLOBSEC will not cover transportation costs. However, participants may receive travel grants on an individual basis. Participants will get the travel grants only up to the price decided by the organizers.

• By filling in the application form, applicants give the organizers their data for processing in the SC Activities Filing System (FS).

• Also, a limited amount of personal data may be available to partner organizations.
