Are you a university or high school student passionate about international law, advocacy, or global justice? DMUN Moot Court 2025 offers a unique opportunity to step into the world of international legal proceedings—all from the comfort of your home. This free, online moot court conference is hosted by the DMUN Foundation and simulates the most prestigious international judicial bodies, providing an immersive legal learning experience for aspiring lawyers and MUN delegates alike.
DMUN Moot Court is an international law simulation where students act as advocates, legal counsels, or judges in simulated international court proceedings. Participants develop real-world skills in legal writing, oral argumentation, and judicial decision-making—all while engaging with complex international legal issues.
This year’s conference will simulate five renowned judicial bodies:
Handle state-to-state disputes involving sovereignty, treaties, and use of force.
Try simulated cases involving genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
Revisit landmark trials and post-conflict justice from the Yugoslav Wars.
Delve into disputes over maritime boundaries, EEZs, and UNCLOS regulations.
Draft and submit memorials (legal pleadings)
Deliver oral arguments and rebuttals in front of expert adjudicators
Participate in judicial deliberations and judgment writing
Tackle real-world inspired case problems
