Applications are now open for the OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship 2025, a fully funded opportunity for young leaders from around the world to attend the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany. Holcim, a global leader in sustainable building solutions, is once again partnering with One Young World to empower young changemakers focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for sustainable urban development.

This year, the scholarship seeks individuals who are making a positive impact through AI in one of the following areas:

• Sustainable construction using AI to improve building design, materials, energy efficiency, or waste reduction.

• Urban resilience through AI-powered systems like traffic management, disaster forecasting, or climate adaptation.

• Responsible AI use in urban development by driving community engagement, policy-making, or interdisciplinary collaboration.

Holcim is dedicated to reimagining the future of building by championing innovative and ethical uses of AI to serve both people and the planet. Selected scholars will join hundreds of global youth leaders at the One Young World Summit 2025, happening from 3–6 November in Munich. The Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship will cover all expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals, and summit fees.

Benefits of OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany from 3-6 November 2025.
• Free air travel from their home country to Munich and vice versa.
• Free hotel accommodation during the OYW Summit period (2 and 6 November 2025).
• All meals will be provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Fellows will also get ground transportation between Summit venues in Munich.
• Participants will also attend the pre-program in Munich.
• The One Young World Summit Scholarship 2025 is an opportunity to visit Germany for free.

Eligibility Criteria of the OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship

• Individuals from all over the world can apply.
• They should be between 18 to 30 years old.
• Should have a record of making a positive impact in one of the three focus areas of this Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship: Deploying AI technologies for sustainable construction, Employing AI solutions for urban resilience, and Responsible deployment of artificial intelligence in urban development.
