UNESCO WHV calls application for Let’s Heritage at Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park 2019, India. This year’s theme for the World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) 2019 campaign is Empowering Commitment to World Heritage. For its twelfth year, UNESCO will implement 68 action camp projects at 62 World Heritage properties and sites inscribed on the Tentative Lists, from June to December 2019, by 55 organizations in 36 countries.

Further, it also includes fortifications, palaces, and religious buildings. As well as it includes residential precincts, agricultural structures, and water installations, dating from the 8th to 14th centuries.
The participants will organize and take part in different awareness-raising actions. This will include various activities from the heritage walk to classes, quizzes, musical evenings, campfire, discovering food, paintings and art performances with local youth, school students and community representatives. They will also prepare a documentary about the camp’s activities to promote the site and youth involvement in heritage protection across different social media platforms. Scheduled visits to various heritage sites across the city, handicrafts, and museums. The heritage Talk show will feature experts delivering insights about Indian Heritage.
