Applications are now open for the 2026 World Internet Conference (WIC) Practice Cases on Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace. Organized by the World Internet Conference (WIC), this global initiative invites governments, businesses, international organizations, academic institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders to submit innovative cross-border digital cooperation projects that promote international collaboration and inclusive digital development.

Outstanding practice cases will be showcased at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit in China, offering worldwide recognition, networking opportunities, and international exposure.

  • Increased international partnership opportunities.

Eligible Themes

Applications should demonstrate international cooperation in one or more of the following areas:

  • Internet Infrastructure Development
  • Online Cultural Exchange
  • Digital Economy Innovation
  • Cybersecurity
  • International Internet Governance

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants may include:

  • Government agencies
  • International organizations
  • Private companies
  • Universities and research institutions
  • Industry associations
  • Non-governmental organizations
  • Other eligible organizations worldwide

Projects must:

  • Have been launched or implemented after 2015
  • Involve cooperation across at least two countries or regions
  • Demonstrate innovation, international collaboration, and positive social impact.

Application Process

Applicants must:

  1. Register on the official WIC application platform.
  2. Prepare application materials in both English and Chinese.
  3. Submit the completed application online before the deadline.
  4. Await evaluation by an international panel of experts.
