The Young Leaders of AIDS 2022 Programme aims to ensure that the voices of young people living with HIV, young activists, and young researchers are heard at international Academic meetings.

In addition, the dedicated program provides young people with opportunities to strengthen their research and advocacy skills to support capacity building.

Benefits/Opportunities for Young Leaders of AIDS

• Meetings with leading scientists, researchers, as well as advocates
• One-on-one career forum to discuss individual career pathways in the field of HIV
• In addition, networking with other young people living with HIV, young activists, and young researchers

Eligibility for Young Leaders of AIDS

• only registered delegates
• Also, aged 26 or under

Selection Criteria Young Leader of AIDS

• good working knowledge of English.
• Applicants will be selected based on the strength of their application while ensuring diversity of representation.

Shortly after the selection process, Young Leaders will be invited to a workshop to discuss how we can best accommodate preferences in both virtual and in-person environments.
