Eligibility Criteria :

• The EWC is open to all entrepreneurs, including those looking to start or scale their ventures.
• Startups from any country are eligible to participate.
• Applicants must have a legally registered startup or plan to register in their country of residence.
• The startup must be less than 10 years old as of the Global Finals, based on the official registration date, not the idea’s conception.
• Previous EWC Global Winners (2019-2024) who received cash prizes can apply again in 2025 but must compete in a different prize category than before.
• Winners of the Growth Stage prize are not eligible to participate in 2025.
• Moreover, other past winners or category winners can apply but cannot compete for the same placement.
• All applicants will follow the same selection process, with no fast-track advantage for previous winners.
• Employees of the organizing entities, including affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
• Similarly, the applicant team member representing the company must be at least 18 years old, except for those applying in the Idea Stage category, which has no age restriction.
