The Next Society launches its 3rd call for applications to join the Startup Booster Track; the tailored support program for entrepreneurs in the MENA region. Through this call for applications, The Next Society will select talented entrepreneurs and innovative businesses to form the 3rd promotion of start-ups that will benefit from the program to boost their innovative solutions.

The Next Society Startup Booster Track offers tailored support to Mediterranean startups to help them go international. Further, the Booster Track helps startups to raise funds through workshops and training sessions, immersion into foreign markets and incubation in European innovation hubs, meetings with investors and long-term coaching by committed mentors.

The Next Society is an open community of changemakers, entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, NGOs, public and private innovation, research and economic development hubs from Europe and 7 Mediterranean countries. It aims at mobilizing, promoting and reinforcing innovation ecosystems and economic development in the MENA region. Further, it supports the emergence of talents and innovative leaders who will drive the next trends and usages by targeting start-ups, clusters and technology transfer offices to accompany their development and by doing so, places he private sector in the driving seat of innovation strategies.

Eligibility for The Next Society Startup Booster Track

Innovative early-stage startups with impact-driven solutions, products or services in the following areas are eligible to apply:

Tech & Software, Food, Environment, Energy, Health, Social & Culture

Further, Startups from selected Mediterranean countries are only eligible to apply. These counties include Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine or Tunisia.

Also, the candidates must pitch their startup idea in English. Hence, candidates must be proficient in English.

How to apply for The Next Society Startup Booster Track

Startups can apply for The Next Society Booster Track by completing and submitting the online application form before the deadline. Further, the participants also should record a short video (no longer than 2 minutes) telling more about their project, strategy, and team.

The selection team will select 21 start-ups will to join the promotion of The Next Society start-ups.

Deadline

The Next Society will accept the application for its 2019/2020 Startup Booster Track until 15 October 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline are ineligible for consideration.
