The Romanian organization Curba de Cultura is looking for a young person, motivated to work in youth cultural centers. The main task will be to organize activities for young people from excluded environments (eg from the countryside). You will also gain new skills, e.g. dealing with the social media of an organization. Duration of voluntary service: 54 days

What will I do?

• an important aspect is organizing events for the local community (e.g. intercultural evenings, film screenings)
• work in a cultural center (especially with young people from communities excluded, e.g. from rural areas)
• assistance in the daily work of the organization (e.g. social media support, creating your own photos or promotional videos)
• organization of language workshops and other meetings with young people

Benefits of 2021 Volunteering in Romania

Volunteers will stay in a hostel exclusively at their disposal. Access to a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. To move around the city, monthly tickets for public transport will be provided, in special cases (e.g. very distant activities) volunteers will also have access to a car.
