Are you between the ages of 18-30 and want to be a Youth Delegate at COP29? Then apply for the COP29 Reporting Fellowship 2024 through the Climate Mobility Pavilion Youth Programme!
The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) is hosting the Climate Mobility Pavilion (CMP) at COP29 in Baku from 11 November to 22 November. The CMP will be a central space dedicated to bringing urgent global attention to climate-forced migration & displacement, pressing forward the need for people-centered climate action.
As a fully funded COP29 fellow in Baku, you’ll participate in pre-COP virtual workshops to meet the team, explore reporting options, and prepare for the conference. You’ll receive technical support and materials to help you gear up for your role. During the two-week program, fellows will engage in activities like orientation sessions with climate journalists, daily briefings, networking events, and interviews with high-level officials, guided by EJN trainers and experienced reporters.
Fellows are expected to consistently produce content for their media outlets, covering print, web, radio, TV, and more. The program offers additional training and activities focused on specific climate themes, and while stories can be in any language, they should be translated into English for broader reach.
This fully funded fellowship covers airfare, accommodation, meals, transportation, travel insurance, and all logistical needs. If you have experience in climate change or environmental issues, this is a valuable opportunity to enhance your skills and gain real-world experience in Azerbaijan. Don’t miss out!
