The European Development Days (EDD) is a participatory program that brings the development community together each year to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships as well as innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
These are highly visible segments of the program and feature high-profile policymakers as well as speakers for thought-provoking debates.
These are the smaller version of HLPs. They foster debates on the EDD 2022’s topics in an interactive as well as engaging way.
The presentations are for organizers to share their latest reports as well as the projects on a topic relevant to the EDD’s main theme.
These sessions are interactive, topic-oriented sessions that enable organizers to involve the audience in proposing concrete recommendations through facilitated group problem-solving. Moreover, brainstorming sessions will only be held onsite. A summary of the outcomes will however be presented to the audience onsite and online.
These sessions are an open, multi-purpose area where the EDD community can meet, discuss and listen to new ideas. The sessions are 20-minute long, held entirely onsite. Moreover, Agoras are the perfect setting for more informal, highly dynamic discussions.
First, you should select the session type and then fill in the respective online form. The deadline to submit proposals is 16 March at 23.59 CET.
As a lead organization, you may submit up to one proposal each for a session, an Agora, an exhibition, and also for a Global Village stand. As a partner organization, you may also be part of additional proposals.
Gender, as well as geographical balance, will be considered as a selection requirement.
The selected proposals will be announced at the end of April.
